Our story

How it all started

A friendly doubles game at Eddie Irvine Sports

We've been playing at Eddie Irvine Sports for about a year now. What began as a handful of people trying out a sport most of us had only read about has grown into a proper club, with regular sessions on Wednesday and Friday evenings.

[Add a few lines about who started the club, how you found the venue, and anything memorable from the first year.]

Who plays with us

People just like you

Our members range from their thirties to their sixties. Some had never picked up a paddle before their first night with us, and a few now travel to tournaments around the UK and Ireland.

We'd especially love to see more younger players come along, so if you've been curious about pickleball, this is a good time to give it a try.

On the podium

Proud of our players

A few of our players have come home with medals from Pickleball UK and Pickleball Ireland tournaments. Competing is entirely optional, but if it's something you fancy, we're happy to help you get started.
